Helsinki Cathedral

My train arrived in downtown Helsinki little before 2 P.M. on Friday. After having a coffee, visiting record and film shops, seeing the current Finnish president Sauli Niinistö, etc., I met Hevosmies in the evening. Later we were  joined by Ahti's Mom, with whom I to her place for the night. In Joensuu it had snowed about 5 cm (2 inches) during the night (on top of about 10 CM / 4 inches of "old" snow) and was still snowing almost horisontally when I left, but in Helsinki there was no snow and the temperature was above freezing, at least during the day.
