Sanderlings in Largo Bay

The fifth day in a row of delightful sunshine. We have been so lucky with the weather for our holiday in the East Neuk of Fife. Today we caught the bus to Lower Largo and walked the eight miles back to St Monans.

I wasn't sure that it would live up to the walk we we did on Monday but it was every bit as good.

For my blip I have chosen this shot of a large group of sanderlings that were scurrying around along the shoreline in Largo Bay just as sanderlings are supposed to do.
