A big sun

Driving home with my niece this afternoon from visiting my older sister in the adult family home where she now lives, I caught this huge sun setting.  It was only about 3:45, but it was already getting so dark.  We're averaging about eight and a half hours of daylight these days, and it's hard to keep the darkness at bay.  At least we're having dry, if very cold, weather.
