The Creek Behind the House

The silly thing about this is that it literally snowed all day, but this photo was taken in the late afternoon and you can see how little accumulation there was. It appeared that the ground is still so relatively warm that the snow just melted when it fell. It only stuck to things like leaves that were relatively cold.

And frankly, that's the kind of snow I like! Pretty, but not a problem.
