Feeling Christmassy

Woke up to a soft white scattering of snow.

After breakfast we so ned boots, scarves, hats and gloves and set off to watch Emily in her end of term Stage School Show. The children were so good, I think we all had atear in our eye. I do have a few photos, but as they include other children, thought it best not to use them on here. Their ages range from 4 to 16, or thereabouts, they sang, danced, acted out sketches, some were very funny.....Emily had told us she had a part as a second child. She has been quite secretive about the show, so we were all beaming when we watched her take second lead in a lengthy sketch called the Lizard Nativity!! Daughter took her to the cinema afterwards as a treat for being so good ;-)

We went for a coffee and a bite to eat, then some more christmas shopping before heading home.

I have a chicken roasting in the oven for dinner, which smells delish as I type.

Ive spent the last half hour on the floor, SAS style, photographing various baubles on our tree for todays blip........really liked this one!
Hub said it looks like a Christmas card, I think thats a compliment :-)

Hope youre all wrapped up cosy and warm, wherever you are this evening.
