Hanging On

Despite the snow and cold the marigolds are still in flower. Here's one this morning following last night's sprinkling. Heavy snow is still forecast for tomorrow. Today, although cold, has been quite sunny. The crowds were out for the Victorian Market and the stalls were doing well.

I met Ann out from Blue Cross and we went to our usual Saturday drinking hole, the Swan Theatre Cafe Bar, the only place where there was plenty of room to settle down with coffee and the papers, at least until the matinee interval when the crowds descended and we left for The Other Place where they were holding a Christmas Fayre. Unfortunately it was aimed more at yummy mummies and mums to be, so we didn't stay long!

Home then for a bit of snooker (UK Championship) and preparations for tonight when Jo and James are coming for dinner.
