A chilly walk

The ice on the puddles was about an inch thick but that meant the mud was also solid so we did a walk across the field and along the river. Normally this is very muddy at this time of year but the ice made it a lovely dry walk today. Arthur was kitted out ready for mud in his equafleece but he really didn't need it. Then again, at least it would have kept him nice and snug. Today I found another bonus of Arthur wearing the fleece: burrs do not get tangled in his hair! So even if he does look a bit comical it is definitely worth wearing. :-)
Williams chicken pox are still raging and he definitely has a strong dose of spots. He is being very good about not scratching (especially while he is distracted by computer games!) and hopefully they will stop itching in a couple of days.
