A Bridge Too Far...?
Ever noticed how you get to the centre of a bridge, solve the problems and get that exhilarating feeling on the way back down?
It's a wonderful feeling, making a decision, solving a problem, overcoming an adversity. It really is like that feeling of the wind in your hair on the downside of that bridge.
Then just when you're back on track, on the flat, there's another river to span, more problems to solve, decisions to make.
On the upside of the new bridge it's hard, emotional, physically and mentally draining. Decisions have knock on effects on all sorts of other things.
So, do we stop? Roll back down the bridge and give up? Walk away stating it's too hard?
No, we keep climbing, keep fighting, keep moving up and over. All because that feeling on the downside can't be beaten.
A bridge too far...never.
