The Top Tenuous Links

Now, I occasionally listen to Mr Evans in the morning and seem to remember he has a slot on his programme known as the 'Top Tenuous Links.'

So here's my attempt at something similar.

How do I get from John Sainsbury - founder in 1869, of the now famous Sainsbury's supermarkets - to Peter Robinson, the popular author?

I thought about leaving the answer until tomorrow but that would spoil it all for you so I'll tell you now.

John Sainsbury, founder of Sainsbury's as already stated. See this for more info.

This blip is one of the company's huge distribution centres where I have been working this week with one of their HGV instructors.

Chatting this morning with him, he told me to look out for his wife on television this evening as she often worked as an extra for a number of television shows.

The programme? DCI Banks which is a TV adaptation of the novels of Peter Robinson. I've not watched many of these as I do enjoy his books and I tend to think that watching the film or TV programme before reading the book spoils the book somewhat.

So there you have it. J Sainsbury to Peter Robinson in a few easy moves.

The lady in question BTW plays a part in the cemetery scenes and may be shown filling her car in a petrol station.

Happy viewing.
