....... and if you get as low down as I did you get a wonderful view of this roof in the Chapter House in York Minister.
The octagonal Chapter House was built in the 13th century and the stone seats around the perimeter must be the coldest and most uncomfortable seat I have ever sat on.

Good to be home after a fabulous couple of days in York. My purse is a bit emptier, my waistline a bit larger and my feet a bit weary but it was worth it!
