Glasgow Park Circus Landmarks
Awoke to another day of stupendous autumn sunshine this morning. Given that it's due to pish down tomorrow I thought I'd make the most of it and use some well earned flexi-time to take a blipping stroll round Park Circus.
The white tower in the blip is what remains of Park Church. The two towers visible in the background are part of Trinity College (formerly Free Church College) which has been flats since the mid 1980s.
In my mind, Park Circus is one of those landmarks, like the Finnieston Crane and the Armadillo, that is distincltly Glasgow. It looks particularly spectacular on the skyline as you drive in from the east on the M8 with the sun setting behind. Nice.
