A Winter Weather Advisory has been posted for tomorrow, all day into the evening, I hope we get to our special events. I have gotten the shovels out of the barn, pounded in the snow stakes along the driveway for the plow guy and filled the bird feeders. We love snow, but we have been looking forward to our Saturday events too. It snowed last year at the Gardner Museum event and it seemed like lots of folks stayed home, good for us, but we felt badly for the members who didn't feel safe venturing out. It's a wonderful morning with the courtyard filled with flowers of the holiday season.
Our California friend is safe so far, but has evacuated friends staying with her. Terrifying. My heart is breaking all living things in the path of this roaring inferno. $10 billion dollars of damage to property so far. The Santa Anna winds are calmer today, but expected to pick up again tomorrow, scary.
For the Record,
This day came in frosty and sunny. It's beginning to feel like snow.
All hands worried about every living thing in California.
