Kudu Lily

This delightful lily is flowering at last - it is a native to south Africa and likes dry conditions so is in a part of the garden that does not get regularly watered.  I saw it earlier today when wandering about so thought it would be a great one for flower friday..... There is also a different one called an Impala lily which has a white flower and red border - it is apparently more of a succulent and has fewer leaves. No flowers on these yet.

We are off to the Kruger Park tomorrow for five days so again I will be out of internet connection - but will be taking photos galore and will have to back blip on our return.
