From the front door

I'd forgotten that snow was forecast so was surprised to see a touch of white when I peered through the bedroon curtains this morning! This is the view from the front door, zoomed in a little. Beneath the trunk of the birch on the left you might be able to make out the castellations over the doorway into McCaig's Tower.

Only about an inch here, not enough to cover the hills properly, but enough to make scraping the car a necessity! So many years since we've had to do that, having had a carport for the last 40 years!

Fortunately our neighbour further up the drive has gritted the road, so at least I didn't slide down and up the road opposite when I went out!
