Hot Dogs

Today's blip comes from a sunny Aberdeen and features Lulabel's two dachshunds, Mabel and Dudley, with the Girdleness Lighthouse in the background.

The lighthouse was designed by Robert Louis Stevenson, grandfather of the author of Treasure Island, and built in 1833. It was automated in 1991 and provides a valuable navigational aid to the many ships entering Aberdeen's harbour.

Tonight I am doggy-sitting while L is at the theatre for the second performance of "42nd Street". Last night was a great success, thankfully, and they received a good crit in the local paper.
