Digging a hole

I spent today digging myself into a hole with Gazweasel. We were on our first excavation for a couple of years and spent it investigating an enclosure which, going by the pottery found in another trench, is probably Iron Age in date. It was a day of hard manual labour and despite our best efforts we still hadn't found the bottom by the time we finished today. We had, however, found one of the sides so tomorrow we should be able to finish the job and then record it. You will notice that the finds trays are completely empty...
