Our quarterly meeting of Area Conveners from across Scotland today. Despite he weather and travel disruption nearly all made it.

A full day of discussions about our planning for next year and the pressures on an extremely stretched budget. So much we wish to do to improve the support for our volunteers ( among whom are the Area Conveners themselves) and so much we are likely to have to shelve.

Still, lots of positive news and some common challenges. The day flew past and at the end we had the chance to say a formal thank you and farewell to three Area Convener. Sadly, Christine Cameron from Central and West Lothian could not be present: but Diane (South East Scotland) and Jean (City of Edinburgh) and we all had an opportunity to express how it gratitutde for their lengthy and committee support.
