Time is relative.
What a strange day of weather today. When I left to go into Galashiels this morning at eleven o’clock it was six degrees centigrade according to my car. As I crossed the Tweed on Gala Foot Bridge, the sleet had come on and the temperature had fallen to three degrees. On my way back into Tweedbank, the sun had come out.
Before work I nipped into Melrose and I managed to get a parking place in the Square. When I got out the car I was looking round for a blip and I noticed the town clock, or rather, the inscription on the side of it. I had a grannie Meikle so I suppose he could have been a relative!
