Planning night

It’s “that” night - where we go out for dinner and do our Christmas present planning. As we head to the final straight I can report we are doing pretty well. I do feel a little later than other years but I have also been doing some surreptitious purchasing so all should be well.

The rest of the day has felt pretty productive though I’m not sure what with as there was a dominating backdrop of murder and mayhem thanks to Mr Smith and, more importantly, his very talented missus. I don’t know how he sleeps at night.

Unfortunately the kids came home and I had to put on a different backdrop so I have a cliffhanger waiting for me in the morning.
