One of the Glasgow murals to celebrate the 75th Birthday of the man affectionately known as "The Big Yin"

Not everyone's cup of tea but I have enjoyed his irreverent observational comedy for as long as I can remember when I am not a comedy fan at all.

We have been fortunate enough to see him live and about a year ago met him walking on the Clyde side one morning, I could not bring myself to disturb his walk to ask for a Blip but simply wished him a good morning he smiled and reciprocated and walked slowly on
