Hibernation

So things are calming down a little now as storm Caroline peaked early this morning. Stornoway airport recorded a high gust of 72mph. Still gusting 50-60mph and awaiting the forecast snow.

We had a two hour power cut early this morning, thankfully after i'd made coffee and had my porridge!

The friend i'm staying with had a hip operation 2 weeks ago and i'm sitting in her bedroom with her drinking tea and we're hibernating. Her husband has very kindly lit the fire in their bedroom - not something you see very often these days!
