Houses by the Khlong

This is quite a different sight from the high-rises of the modern city. The traditional way of living still remains in many parts.
Th row of wooden houses stand along a small khlong (canal) of the historic section of Rattanakosin. The bamboo floating on the water probably serves as a bridge from one side to the other.
