Left Worcester this morning to head to Birmingham to then get the train to London. Then tube to London Bridge to meet my best friend Sarah who was travelling up from Hastings.

We went for a couple of drinks in The Shard, it’s very impressive. Although I prefer Leeds Sky bar. We then had a nosey through Borough Market, had lunch in Leon’s then to the George for another couple of drinks. Sadly at 5pm my time was up and I had to leave to travel back to Wakefield.

It was lovely to catch up with Sarah, I really miss her but look forward to our next meet which will definitely be for longer!

After a fabulous few days away, I was happy to be home and got a very vocal welcome from DD.
