Precautions . . .

In 2005 St Margaret's Hope was badly flooded and the shop suffered a lot of damage.  Since then, whenever there is a risk of more flooding, we lift everything that we can up off the floor.  

Dire warnings have been coming in all afternoon of tomorrow's expected gales and attendant storm surge, so the decision has been made that I was to clear the decks before I left this evening.  I was impressed with my efforts then got home and remembered the vacuum cleaner in the cupboard under the window . . .   ah well!
