Danger - fast flowing water

The River Roche looks reasonably quiet, in a fast flowing sort of way. It’s almost two years since it burst it’s banks and flooded Rochdale town centre, including the adjoining building, Number One Riverside.

I had a meeting here this morning, in a room called Hollingworth B. Very impressive building, must visit that lake sometime.

The day started well. Two pieces of great music as I got closer to work, the first celebrating today as the 100th anniversary of the Finnish Declaration of Independence from the Russian Empire. And the second celebrating the feast of St Nicholas. Music can uplift the soul.
