One of my whistle-stop trips into town this morning, to run a couple of errands. Well, that was the plan…

I won’t tell you about the unpleasant events of the trip; like when the bus driver had to stop and throw two abusive drunks off the bus; or when I got held up for aaages in the first shop waiting for their card payment machine to be repaired; or when I returned an online order in the next shop and the sales assistant refunded the wrong item and then spent sooo long sorting out the mess she’d made that I missed my bus; or when I returned home, still feeling upset by the morning’s events, I dropped my lunch on the floor…

Instead I’ll tell you about the good parts of my morning; like when missing my bus meant that I had time to explore the last few stalls of the Christmas Market; or when the fake snow machine was switched on and I found myself in a snow storm; or when I came across these gorgeous stars, lighting up a grey world for Christmas…
