Sun worshipper

This little fellow has been a regular guest in our garden at work (yes we have a garden as it's a coverted Victorian villa - very nice location for an office!).

He was dozing in the sunshine at lunchtime and was happy for me to sit fairly close (with a long lens) once I had talked to him in a nice voice (he thought about doing a runner initially).

It's pretty tropical in Glasgow today!

Good news for me today - me and a big group of colleagues won funding for a grant we had applied for. It only accounts for 5% of my time as I'll just have input at key meetings and with papers, etc...but it's a good start along the road of doing my own work.
