I made it.
I walked from my hotel along the whole distance to Praia Formosa and the Doca do Cavacas.

Yes I was tired, but so, so happy.

I took the bus back and celebrated with a poncha.

For those of you who remember the beautiful old house that was decaying, there’s good news. They’ve started work on the renovation and it’s suggested that it may become a stunning B and B.

And congratulations and best wishes to our Finnish blippers on their special day - 100 years of Independence.
