Old road sign

A day of chores. Did the supermarket shop early in Ulverston and then dropped into to Cartmel to pick up a couple of presents. Knowing that day would not offer any interesting photo opportunities I grabbed a blip of the old road sign in Cartmel - I've been saving it for a slow blip day! I assume that the sign was for the benefit of the horse drawn coaches that crossed the sands before the advent of motorised transport. Hopefully it doesn't confuse the modern day tourists!
