I want to be a Unicorn
Hub and I ventured into town this morning, a different type of walk to those strolls in the sun of late, but enjoyable nevertheless!
Picked up the bits and pieces we needed, then headed to Reds for a coffee and a toasted sandwich for, lunch, first time in five weeks....they missed us ;-)
Spent an hour in the front garden collecting up the saucer sized leaves from our Magnolia tree. Hub had a go at counting the numerous buds we have developing for next Spring, definitely going to be a record at 40+. The most we have had to date is a dozen or so!
We had offered to collect Emily from After School Club, she requested a 4pm pick up, so off we went. She greeted us clutching a sparkly decorated digestive biscuit, which didnt last long ;-)
She has a new pale pink coat, and a unicorn hat/scarf/mitts combo, which she absolutely loves, as unicorns are "her thing" just now!
We got back to daughters house, we stayed for tea, then Emily had her shower, got her pjs on, and her unicorn hat........I tried to persuade her to pose for me but she wasnt having any of it, as you can see! Oh yes, by the way she had been eating blue liquorice!!!
She seems to have shot up since we last saw her, we stood back to back, she is up to the base of my neck now!!
