Chewing the Cud

It's another beautiful morning so I got up and out with Louis and went for a walk to the fields at the end of our road.

The cows were all enjoying the sun and this one in particular caught my eye as she was the only grey and white one in the field of black and white Friesians. She was lay down quite happily chewing away and watching me and Louis, which also meant she was a great subject. I took quite a lot of shots, but like this one as her face is nicely lit by the sun, and I managed to get one where she's 'smiling' at me :-) Either that or she was trying to tell me to go away and leave her alone!
