Little Island

Lake Saimaa is all free of ice, often this time it is frozen already. The Independence celebration for 100 year - old Finland is kicking into full gear. Flags have been raised, homes and buildings are lit in festive lights, there is singing, greetings from around the world. Coffee with each other at 2PM was a part of the celebration. Tomorrow we will continue...
