It's beginning to feel like Christmas....

Today has been a day entirely about Christmas....I went back to Garson's Farm this morning to order my Christmas tree. After taking their advice I chose a beautiful 7 foot Nordman Fir as they assured me it lasts the longest and does not drop as many needles as other varieties. They deliver for free too so I will get it on Thursday. On my way out I could not resist buying a few more ornaments for the tree - some of them are so elaborate and so pricey, but I chose some reasonable ones and only a few. 

Then back home again I settled down to finish the wrapping of the Christmas presents - it took ages but they are all wrapped now. With all the presents laid out I could see exactly what I had for everyone, and I felt I needed to add a few small gifts, so I bought a few more things online and now that should really be it!

I saw this on Facebook this morning, it is so funny and so true. For most women, Christmas is a busy and often stressful time as they arrange everything, while men (yes I know, a gross generalisation here) really think the Christmas fairy comes along and sorts everything for them, and think it will all just fall into place. Well spoiler alert, women make it happen, it does not fall in to place!
