To hell with Burgundy!

Actually the title should read 'To Heaven with Burgundy'.
To-days blip is of the ornamentation over the west door of the chapel at the Royal Monastry at Brou .
This whole superb building was constructed in the early 16th century by Margaret of Austria to honour the memory of her husband Philip the Fair, who is buried there.
The building is being fully restored and is well worth a visit if you like this sort of thing.
