Apologies To Any Welsh Folk
Back Blip
When I took the grandchildren to Wales in November, Mr E told Mckenzie that if he spoke to any Welsh people, he should speak Welsh back and taught him to say the above sentence with a Welsh accent.
This was all forgotten until the lady that owned the cottage came to check that everything was OK.
On hearing her Welsh voice, my five year old grandson, in his finest Welsh accent, proceeded to repeat what his Grampy had taught him. Luckily she found it funny and promised to teach him some proper Welsh, so she showed him how to count to three.
He loved the idea and repeated the three numbers for the rest of the day. We then spent the rest of the week learning to count to 10.
Fast forward a month.... I was invited to a friend's house for coffee and there on her radiator was this plaque. I think she must have thought I was mad when I burst out laughing :)
