500

The 20th January 2009 will be remembered forever as a momentous event in history. And coincidentally apart from my 500th, it seems some chap in America was inaugurated as President as well.

The last few months have been horrendous for me in terms of work and blip mojo, but I have decided to gamely soldier on and try and keep up with the flow. In terms of volume, this month has been relatively good for me, so it is an encouraging start.

So thanks to all the wonderful people who have kept in touch on my journal - especially through the fallow period when I was hardly posting at all and certainly not commenting, and thanks to Joe and his team for creating the environment for the lovliest bunch of people in the world to get together.

I cannot believe that it has taken almost two years to do my 500, so here's hoping the next 500 will be a darn site quicker.

This picture is of balloons and swans - although I wouldn't want to be stereotyped as a swan blipper.
I do planes as well.

Until today, I had no idea how difficult it is to get swans to look up into the sky. I ended up throwing sticks in the air - which seemed to work, but unfortunately, I forgot that they come down again. My head hurts.
