Neahkanie Beach near Manzanita Oregon

We had an amazing day at the Oregon Coast...took a long walk along the beach this morning at Neahkanie! This view is looking north at Neahkanie Mountain...I love the rocks and the waves! A real treat this morning was seeing lots of pelicans flying south in small groups, skimming the waves. This is my first sighting of pelicans so I was pretty excited. They are amazing to watch!!

Then we decided to go home via Tillamook, stopping at the Blue Heron French Cheese Company for lunch. Along the way we stopped at the Barview Jetty to watch the fisherman and also at "The Three Graces", a beautiful group of rocks near Garabaldi, Oregon. Then it was back to Portland by way of the beautiful Wilson River. What a fun 3 days...so many photo opps!!!!
