Derek's Enchanted Woodland

MONDAY

A full day in the office.

On the way home I took a slight detour to pick up a Christmas tree (which will stay in the garage for a few more days).

I also took a detour to Mirfield to view Derek Highe's Christmas lights. Derek has been decorating his house on Robin Royd Avenue every year since 2002. This year is theme is "Enchanted Woodland" (see extra).  Visitors to his garden are encouraged to donate to charity and over the years he has raised over £43,000 for good causes.

I can't say that I would want to live next door and I wouldn't want his electricity bill.
