This super moon is proving irksome.....

Last night's failed super moon shot behind me (30 minutes too late) I decided to have another go. Down to the beach at the end of the road. A rising moon over Blackness Castle. I got there to a crowd of photographers. Bugger.

Still failed to get the shot I wanted. Another attempt at 5:15pm tomorrow, with the big tripod and the camera preset  - too much fannying about with the wrong glasses and a torch.

The light dots in the middle are a flood lit gantry on a massive crane in Rosyth.
