Grand central station

We had a strict hour by hour itinerary planned for today and woke up early to make sure we got to do everything we wanted. We soon realised that the day wasn't to go as planned when we got to our 1st stop, the MOMA and it was closed! It then started to rain, even though the forecast was to be dry all day. With no umbrella we changed our plans and went and ate blueberry pancakes in a cafe near central station and then spent an hour wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. Ian was slightly disappointed that he couldn't slide down the escalators like Al Pacino in Carlitos Way though.
We hadn't booked theatre tickets as The Book of Mormon is sold out until Jan and that was the musical we really fancied. Instead, we decided to chance it and see what discounted tickets we could get at the Times Square box office. We only waited in the rain for 30 mins and got tickets for Evita which currently has Ricky Martin as Che. We had a great evening and are now absolutely shattered. Its now time for some shut eye ready for tomorrow's intense itinerary.
