Rolling On

The first Hoop-petticoat Narcissus of the season.   Seen just as the bud opened two weeks ago the flower will last weeks if the weather stays cold .... as the forecast says it will after the next couple of days.

Jamie was measured for a custom-made NHS wheelchair this morning .... an exciting present but he may not be rolling around on it until after Christmas.  Following the appointment we visited the grandparents and collected the Christmas cake that Jamie and Grandma made a couple of months ago.  Tonight we've been rolling out marzipan and covered the cake.

Rolling on gently towards mid-winter, Christmas and the start of a new year.  Wonder if the narcissus flower will last to see what the new year brings .....
