...the titmouse I didn't post yesterday. Well, not exactly the same one, but the same species. Yesterday I had to choose between the titmouse and the nuthatch, and chose the latter. So to make up for it today, I am choosing the titmouse. As I was blipping this noisy little bird with the rasping call, an elderly couple walked past. She commented on the noise the bird was making, but much to her surprise and mine, he said he couldn't hear it. Titmice are raucous when excited, and this one was, so if the gentleman couldn't hear that loud bird, he must miss much of what goes on around him. To quote his wife, "That's really too bad."
