Beatification

Here's my POV for the Mass for the Beatification of Father Solanus Casey at Ford Field in Detroit. Definitely the biggest mass I've ever attended.  Around 68, 000 people were expected but I think the cold and heavy rain may have kept some folks away.  Still, I think the number was at least 60,000.   It was a thrill to be at this historic event and to see Fr. Solanus declared Blessed..
