To market, to market

We were up and at 'em bright and early this morning, legging it down the cliff and into town for a look around in time to stagger back up again for lunch.

We failed to find the post office but did find a cash machine (in a bank that inhabits an ancient monument). On turning around I spotted the indoor market.

I think I must have been imagining something like Leeds but it was a far smaller affair. Not much choice between stalls as they pretty much all had similar goods but, oh, my, the quality! No Pata Metra in sight though.

They had Christmas lights up, the first we have seen in Spain but that is not surprising as we have been holed up in the van avoiding the snow.

We then investigated a couple of convenience stores, buying Turron for a treat and some cheap Cava with which to make aperetifs this evening.

Back at base we had our final €11 menu del Dias and our last cup of coffee in the bar. Really, they make the best coffee that I have ever tasted. Love the way that after a week here we are being treated as regulars and given the litre carafe of wine. When we first went in for lunch we were given the half carafe
