Diva

Boats are feminine so the name of "Diva" is appropriate. It is coincidental that I follow the Blip Journal of "Diva" who is a world traveling vocalist.

It seems strange to see a sailboat parked in the middle of the desert. This Newport 33 showed up at the marina (without water) in the little town of Catalina, Arizona.

Diva is all wrapped up for winter storage. It is always a chore. I know because for thirty years we prepared our sailboat for winter storage.

View large and you can see the crusty ladder. This may be a result of immersion in salt water. We enjoyed the fresh water of Lake Michigan.
