First....

Performance day since she started her new dance school 10 months ago. So it's a terrible photo but it's a moment that should be saved and enjoyed through her journal.

She did her day at music, especially working hard on her exam stuff for piano and doing some concentrated technique stuff in clarinet. I picked her up just a little early and we headed to the show venue. The pre-performance information had said that the children were sitting with parents but because she was doing several dances in both performances she got to go back stage for all but the final three classes' presentation at the end of the second show. It was so wonderful to get the chance see the school in action and to see my little superstar back on the stage. She's started commercial this past year and she was great in that. She started contemporary just this term and did fabulously. It suits her so well- she's not up with some of her classmates in that one but I can't wait to see her progress with it. She's made such a good start at it.
