Span

Another lovely day. Over to South Queensferry for a pootle around, coffee and breakfast roll and admiring of the old bridge (still my favourite of the three). You might spot a little sailing boat with matching coloured sails. Then on to Stockbridge for more pootling and after dropping S at the station I went down into town to get H’s present.
Walked over to B’s for a lovely exhibition of Julie Johnstone’s work (http://ambruno.co.uk/julie-johnstone.html ) and items from his collection of rare books and manuscripts (plus tea and scones!) Lovely.
Chatted to B and L about a possible Centre for Death Studies (!) ...we’re going to discuss over lunch or supper in January....
Finally over to St Giles for carol service. Perfect....even with an added brass band which always makes me tear as it reminds me of when Mt played in Woburn Sands Band when he was a little tot. Maybe AR will join in a few years?!
Home for Sunday night TV and knitting. Ready for a new week (without graduations!)
