A little gem

Returning home this morning from and emergency shop I passed through a nearby village that has a large patch of flower meadow on a very wide verge. It looked well past its sell by date and then I noticed a few small splashes of white. Stopping to investigate I saw about half a dozen Shasta Daisies and then amongst the plant dieback I saw a little point of blue that turned out to be a Scabious. It is the Scabious that I’ve chosen for my blip today.
