That which we call a rose...

It's been such a grey, overcast day today, we haven't seen the sun at all, so seeing this single red rose in the garden made me smile.
Had intended to start the Christmas decorations today but everyone is out, so I'm waiting for my youngest son to return so he can help.  He may be 14 but he still enjoys it and would be mad if I started without him.
