Le Freak!

Much of Saturday was spent getting ready for our annual pre-Christmas bash. After tidying and cleaning, we put up our tacky artificial tree (bought especially for the occasion) and decorated it with masses of tinsel, coloured lights and baubles. Not our normal style, but this was Christmas 70's style so the tackier the better. We strung gold foil garlands from the ceiling then D set up the PA and karaoke machine.

Everyone brought a course for dinner: prawn cocktail, beef bourguignon, baked Alaska and cheese and biscuits in keeping with the theme. 

It was a fantastic night, everyone made a huge effort with the food, costumes and secret santa presents. We had a fantastic sing along and a lot of fun and laughter. Just the thing to get everyone into the Christmas spirit.
